Bibliography
The Sainte-Radegonde Manufacture was founded by Gustave Frédéric Asch (1856-1911) in 1887 in the surbub of Tours.
The “axe mark” is a phonetic reference to the name of its founder.
The manufacture was acquired by the Primavera Workshop – the art workshop of Le Printemps department store – in 1920.
