History
This unique, never-before-seen piece was bought directly from the artist for 7,000 francs (equivalent to 5,236 euros) in 1976 by Georges Robin, a ceramicist who took over Jean Maubroux’s workshop in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in 1958.
According to Renaud Régnier, director of the Musée de La Borne, it is the largest sculpture ever made by André Rozay.
